Welcome to Egypt Community Church! We are a church that exists to fulfill God's five purposes for us being here on this earth: Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship. Service and Mission. This includes being relevant to the culture in which we live. God is not boring and we believe that church should not be boring either.
We are also committed to providing a safe place where you can experience the truths of God, Christ, the Bible, and remain annonymous until you are ready to get connected. Our Sunday Celebrations are Traditional and Contemporary with a mixture of hymns and praise chourses. The messages are relevant to the world in which we live.
I love serving God in this capacity. Ever since becoming a Christian in 1982, I've had a heart to serve God. Before becoming a Pastor, I operated my own business for 20 years, as a Professional Photographer, until 1984, when I felt God's call upon my life. I closed my business and entered Reformed Episcopal Seminary in Philadelphia, PA for my studies, graduating in 1988. Upon graduation I was called to serve at my home church Shepherd of the Hills Church in Bechtelsville, PA as an Associate Pastor of Small Groups. I graduated from United Wesleyan College in Allentown, PA in 1990 with a BA Degree. My ministry at Shepherd of the Hills ended in December 2004, and I started serving Egypt Community Church in January of 2005.
As you take a moment to explore our website you will find that we have a place for you no matter where you are on your spiritual journey. If you are just exploring the whole God thing and wondering is there really is anything to it or if you are convinced and want to grow spiritually, we believe that we can help you on your journey.
Let me take this opportunity to let you know that you matter to God and to us! God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, so that you could have life at its fullest. If you would like to discover what that means please plan on joining us soon on Sunday Morning at 10:30 a.m.
We believe that the church is the hope of this world and we are committed to being just that.
I hope to see you one day soon!
