Our primary goal is to give congregations that are considering withdrawl from the United Church of Christ a reason to remain in fellowship
To call ourselves and others to recommit to the founding vision of the United Chruch of Christ expressed in the UCC's 1957 Basis of Union and 1961 Preamble to the Constitution.
To promote unity in the UCC based on Jesus christ as Lord and Savior, the Word of God in Holy Scriptures, and the historic faith expressed in the ancient creeds and reclaimed in the basic insights of the Protestant Reformers.
Advocate for greater representation of clergy and laity who share FWC ideals in places of influence in regional and national settings of the UCC.
Seek fair treatment of Evangelical, Conservative, Orthodox, or Traditional (ECOT) women and men who desire to gain or retain ministerial standing in the UCC.
Provide church leaders with sound ideas and healthy ways to engage difficult conversations over faith, ethics, and denominational relations.
Challenge UCC members across the breadth of its theological spectrum to deeper examination of our faith and life in light of the Lordship of Jesus Christ, the authority of the Holy Scripture, and the witness of the historic and ecumenical church.
