“The Harvest”
At this time of the agricultural year it’s all about the harvesting of crops and assessing the quantity and quality of it. In the Hebrew calendar it’s the Feast of Tabernacles and Harvest. As believers in America, we enter a season of thanksgiving for God’s bounty and blessing. The concepts of harvest and meeting needs are very important in God’s Word. Let’s see why.
Phil 4:9-19
Vss 11-12
The obedient Christ follower learns to be content with little or with much.

Vs. 13
That ability comes from Christ.

Vss. 14-18
We are blessed to be a blessing to others.

Vs. 19
God provides what He knows we need.

John 4:31-36
The clueless servant doesn’t see the needs of the lost, only his own.

Matthew 9:35-38
Like Jesus, we must have compassion, not pity for the lost
and pray for workers.

The joy of our blessings is in sharing our blessings.
The lost are dying. Who will pray? Who will go?
The Lord of the harvest is calling!

Isa 6:8 Whom shall I send and who will go for us ? Then I said, “Here am I, send me”.
